“What then shall we say of these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Father, thank you that You have given me the Spirit of might. It is no coincidence that I come from a boxing family. I have a strong will to succeed in fulfilling the destiny You have purposed for my life. I have been knocked down many times, but by your grace I keep getting back up. I am fighting the good fight of faith. I’m still standing.
As a child I almost drowned three times, as an adult I was emotionally and physically abused, almost killed in an auto accident, friends and family members hurt me deeply. But through it all, You sustained me and comforted me. You gave me the hope that these light afflictions are nothing in comparison to the glory that is set before me.
Although my adversary has hit me hard in the past and has been determined to knock me out of the ring, yet I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loved me and gave Himself for me. No weapon formed against me will ever prosper. I am your champion! Not by my might, but by your Spirit, says the LORD.
I’ve had many trials and tribulations. People have tried to chew me up and spit me out. But You are ever with me; I’m never alone in this fight. I’ll never be a victim, but a victor. For You have gone ahead of me and disarmed all principalities and powers, because they were too big for me. They would have swallowed me whole, but You shut up their mouths – just as You did with Daniel in the Lion’s den.
Many were against me, Lord, but You were on my side. Against all odds, they could not win. You have been my best coach, guiding me and loving me through the most difficult rounds. The impartation of your grace and strength never failed. I know the love You have for me is my greatest power. You have protected me from all harm and gave me great peace in the midst of it all.
With You by my side, I cannot lose. I’ll never be put to shame; I am your chosen servant, your daughter of destiny. I was born for such a time as this, to be an encourager and give hope to those who are weak. You reminded me that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord will deliver them from all. In the world we will have tribulation, but we should not fear, for You have overcome the world.
Lord, I need You, because without You I can do nothing; You are carrying me through. You’ve got me covered in the arena of this life. I must stay determine and not waver or allow my adversary to distract my focus of winning the prize. I want to make You proud of me, and hear your words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
By your favor, Lord, You have made my mountain stand strong. I’m still standing, and will continue to stand, until you give me the final victory.
